After building many random products I decided to search online market place Envato for products that were successful (they show weekly sales) and I felt I could do better in the UI/UX department.
I used my existing Front-end development and design skills to code the initial version in vanilla JavaScript. The current version is built with Svelte.

I launched on Product Hunt and referenced Pintura from my open source (and free) file upload library FilePond.

I'm not that big on marketing, but mostly ahrefs and domainr to find interesting domains.
Yearly license subscriptions based on team size. Customers get support + updates + private npm access. The Pintura license is perpetual, if a subscription expires customers can still use the Pintura version that was last released in their subscription period.
Currently at USD 20K+ MRR, most of that is profit as I'm operating PQINA on my own and costs are low. The real number is above that, but I’m currently not comfortable showing it.
