Instatus was created by Ali Salah, a developer from Egypt in 2019. He initially struggled with other product ideas but found Instatus to be a safer bet due to its simplicity and existing demand in the market.

Initially, when the business started, Ali Salah was the sole member of the team, handling all aspects of the business himself. As the business grew and gained traction, Salah began expanding the team by hiring additional employees. The current team size at Instatus consists of two full-time employees and two part-time employees.
